Romantic DIY woodland wedding at the gorgeous Ravine Gardens.

Cami and Matt had the most romantic Ravine Gardens State Park wedding. I love weddings at state parks. They’re really the perfect venue for nature lovers like these two. And talk about versatile! You could go formal or casual. These two opted for a more laid back affair. In fact, Cami was barefoot for the majority of the day, including our little stroll through the park for photos. This wedding was full of personal touches, like the flower arrangements made by Cami’s grandmother. Cami did her hair and makeup, as well as Matt’s hair (he kept his eyes closed and it was adorable). Matt’s mom made the mini key lime pies for the dessert table, and Cami’s mom coordinated the whole event. Matt’s dad and Cami’s dad both officiated the ceremony. Talk about talent in this family!

Ravine Gardens State Parks is exactly the kind of wedding venue DIYers would love.

The ceremony took place in one of the formal garden terraces, with a stunning rock wall as the backdrop. After the vows, we strolled through the park for photos. At times it felt like we were in a tropical jungle…minus all the things people really hate about jungles, of course. If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you’re in Florida and know how hot it gets here. This day was no exception. Thankfully, the shade from the tree canopy provided some relief from the sun. I could have photographed these two for hours but they had a celebration to get back to so we didn’t walk too far.

Afterward, we headed up to the pavilion for their wedding reception, where Matt and Cami’s families worked tirelessly to make absolutely perfect. (Side note, this pavilion is the perfect size for their intimate wedding but could easily accommodate up to 100 people.) They shared the sweetest first dance in front of all their closest friends and family. I just love a couple that just gets lost in their emotions and there were so many happy tears at this wedding. Matt and Cami were truly the sweetest couple and I am so happy for their amazing life ahead.
