Kristin + Tim: Jericho Terrace Wedding

This was my first wedding of the season and wow, what a way to start the year! Kristin and Tim were such a loving couple and, of course, made me feel welcome right away. These photos were second shot for Michael Cassara at the Jericho Terrace in Long Island. I’d never shot at the Jericho Terrace before but I was instantly a fan of their well lit rooms and glass roof in the ceremony space. One thing I absolutely loved was the wine box during the ceremony. Kristin and Tim had written love letters to each other and during the ceremony, they placed those love letters in a box with a bottle of wine and nailed it shut, to be opened at their 10 year anniversary. I’ve never seen this before but it is definitely a new favorite ceremony tradition. Wine and love letters? Yes, please.

I am so lucky I got to work with such a sweet couple. I hope their marriage is filled with nothing but happiness and love…and lots of wine. They definitely deserve it.
