Dan + Marin: Bat Haus Wedding

Dan and Marin are two of the most easy going people I know. When I showed up to shoot their wedding on Sunday, we just took a stroll around the neighborhood to get some urban shots with some pretty cool street art in the background before guests started showing up. These must have been the most relaxed wedding formals I’ve ever shot! For real. And anyone that has tacos and margaritas at their reception knows what they’re doing. Their wedding took place at the Bat Haus in Bushwick, which was just flooded with warm light. During the ceremony, when the officiant typically asks if anyone objects, they decided to take a different approach and ask instead who supported their marriage. Each seat had some sort of noise maker and when the time came, the guests erupted into cheers and applause.

I am so excited for Dan and Marin and wish them every happiness as they start their new life together as husband and wife. Congratulations, you guys!
