A Luau Birthday

Earlier this month, I headed over to a Luau themed birthday party. I had met Maddy before and was very excited at the opportunity to have her in front of my lens once again. I arrived a little early (thanks to the bus running off schedule) so I scoped out the backyard where little details had already found their homes for the evening. Not before long, the space was filled with excited children, bubble gun fights, and a face painting clown. And while I managed to snag a few shots of this pretty 5 year old, she spent her time zipping by in a blur, enjoying her party and stopping only for single moments to take in the excitement. I can tell she has an awesome year ahead of her!
