This post is long overdue. After my vacation, it was right back to work for me. I hadn’t realized how busy this last month would be or I would have considered taking a longer break!

This was my first visit to California and my brother, who moved there last year, was a perfect tour guide. Upon landing in Sacramento (a quaint little airport), we looked around to find a grizzly looking 20 year old with cut-off sleeves and an abundance of facial hair. This was my brother, Joseph. Joseph had been living on a farm for several months, which explained his unshaven endearing appearance.

We headed to Lake Tahoe and spent the next 5 days enjoying the wilderness and not once did we feel out of shape or dehydrated. I could get used to that dry air…

And because I am STILL catching up on editing and laundry (this apartment looks like a tornado blew through it!), I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
