Southern wedding complete with vibrant bridal bouquet and goddess inspired dress.
Casey and Matt had a beautiful wedding at the Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, GA. Probably the best thing about this venue, and the Savannah area in general, is that it’s so versatile. Whether you’re looking for history, southern charm, luxury, casual…it’s all there. You know that saying, “no two weddings look alike,” and these day, venues make it easier and easier to customize your day.
This Savannah Quarters Country Club Wedding was stunning.
This particular Saturday started off rainy and ended with a glowing sunset. When the sun started peeking over the trees just before the ceremony started, it was just perfection. Side note, it is SO important to find a wedding photographer that can work in different lighting situations. Weather is unpredictable, as I’m sure anyone who watches the weather channel knows! Weathermen are liars. There, I said it. Fortunately, the weather worked in our favor. We managed to avoid the rain and get that beautiful diffused light during portraits. And what can I say about glow-y ceremonies, they’re a dream.
The bridal bouquet and rose arbor were exquisite.
Casey chose vivid reds and pinks for the florals, which were TO. DIE. FOR. I loved the touch of orchid in the bouquet. Sometimes I get to hold the bride’s bouquet between photos and I’ll take a big whiff. Wedding flowers are so fragrant. Maybe it’s the excitement of the day but I feel like flowers always smell better at weddings. These, my friend, smelled like heaven.
The ceremony was visually stunning, of course, with vibrant red and pink roses and greenery on the arbor. Meanwhile, a harpist added a perfect touch of elegance. Just beyond the ceremony, was a wooded area, giving this wedding a major outdoors-y vibe. I’m not complaining, I’ll take a wedding in the middle of the woods any day (that is, when I’m not shooting beach weddings!).
