A trendy black tie wedding with a rooftop ballroom and elegant black and gold details.
Alex and Mallory’s Perry Lane Hotel wedding in Savannah, GA was just stunning. From the hotel lounge details to the rooftop ballroom, this the perfect venue for couples looking for a classy and elegant wedding experience.
The Perry Lane Hotel is full of quirky little details that make the space unique.
The Perry Lane Hotel lounge is bursting with quirky and interesting details that make the space comfortable and visually appealing. Weird art pieces basically cover every inch of this hotel (including the elevators!), which consists of two buildings. So naturally, there are lots of different spaces for your photos depending on the look you are going for. I just love venues with versatility because it just means your wedding gallery is going to be diverse and give you plenty of options for photos to display around your home. And for all the details inside the hotel, the outside of the building is a clean white brick with beautiful greenery. You guys know I love a tropical feel in my photos. And those giant elephant ears? Yes, please. The details of this hotel, inside and out, are very trendy.
The ballroom comes with a stunning rooftop view of Downtown Savannah.
First of all, any venue with rooftop access automatically gets cool points. The Perry Lane Hotel rooftop looks over Downtown Savannah, with the steeple of First Baptist Church just in view. Rooftop receptions always feel a little glamorous. There’s something about that overhead view that’s so calming. You get to see the town from a different perspective than you would be seeing otherwise. Very VIP.
We did see a little rain on Alex and Mallory’s wedding day but not enough to keep them and their guests from enjoying the cool Savannah weather. What they got instead was gorgeous diffused light. And while I do love a good sunset, I’ll take a overcast any day. That light, so clean, so dreamy.
The reception was full of gold accents and personal details.
Gold foil everywhere. Talk about classing up a reception, this wedding was dripping with elegance. The gold and black together were so understated and a perfect backdrop for all of the personal details that Alex and Mallory chose to include. I absolutely loved the little charms that were hanging from the floral arrangements that included personal photos of loved ones that had passed. So personal and touching. And like true Disney fans, they brought their Mickey and Minnie wedding ears to the reception. You could really see the care that went into every step of planning this wedding.
