Elegant TPC Sawgrass Wedding in Ponte Vedra, FL

A perfectly stunning wedding at TPC Sawgrass with amazing views and a gorgeous couple.

Shadi and Ahmed had an elegant wedding at the gorgeous TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra FL. Their ceremony was just outside on the lush event lawn, stunningly perfect palm trees and all. The amazing thing about TPC is that they are a great wedding venue whether you are eloping or inviting 500 guests! And obviously, the backdrop is this incredible, tropical paradise (aka this photographer’s dream).

This TPC Sawgrass wedding was absolutely perfect.

The day started out with a little bit of good luck wedding rain. I’m sure you’ve heard every photographer say this but rainy day lighting is *perfection*. During the first look, that rain was coming down a little too hard for photos. Fortunately, our bride and groom were able to stay dry under the covered walkway just outside the clubhouse but as you can imagine, I was standing in the rain to get the shot. Totally worth it. If I am your photographer on a rainy day, I would not object to having a little fun with some rain photos. It’s kind of hard to avoid in Fl, especially during those pesky summer months.

The rain cleared up in time for the outdoor ceremony – the great thing about the weather in Fl is that it doesn’t last long. I was definitely getting some serious tropical vibes from those 3 massive palm trees on the event lawn. One of the bigger projects when planning your wedding is the decor (especially if you’re a diy-er) but with beautiful spaces, you don’t need to bring in all those extra details. The lawn was, of course, perfectly manicured and the green provided a beautiful backdrop. What more could you want in a venue?

Right after the ceremony, we headed out for some photos away from all the admiring guests. TPC Sawgrass has so many different areas for wedding photos. My favorite being this road lined with palm trees. Have I mentioned I like palm trees? As quickly as the sun had come out for the ceremony, it dipped behind some clouds again, giving us that beautiful diffused light. And obviously, Shadi and Ahmed looked absolutely gorgeous against all those deep greens.
