Genn + Erik: Auburn University AG Heritage Park Wedding

I’ve known Erik and Gennifer for a while, Erik is Ben’s brother. So this time, I got to be a part of all the behind the scenes excitement. I headed down to Alabama a few days before the ceremony and wow, I had no idea how much of a DIY wedding this was. They were married at the Auburn University AG Heritage Park and Gennifer had worked for months to get every detail right. This is a lot of time considering she is a nursing student and barely has time to eat or sleep… It came together beautifully. Erik even had the guys on hay bale duty the morning of the ceremony- Gennifer and Erik are EMTs and instead of benches, they had their guests sit on hay bales covered with emergency blankets. Creative, I know.

These two could not stop smiling once they laid eyes on each other. They make each other laugh and that is such an important part of relationships (and pictures!). I am so excited to see what’s next for these two!
