Jen and Chris were married in late September, just as the colorful leaves began to dominate the summer sky with it’s deep oranges and reds. The ceremony was held at St. Stephen’s Church in Trumbull, Connecticut, which is where our day began with some portraits of the groom and groomsmen before Jen arrived. After the ceremony, we headed over to a nearby park for some formal portraits before moving everyone onto the reception at the Tashua Knolls Golf Course. Of course, we snuck out mid-reception for some more formals but these two needed a quiet break from all the dancing, eating, and congratulatory hugs anyway, right? At the end of the night, we were truly sad to pack up and leave such a happy occasion. Before we left, we set up one more shot: floating lanterns! My experience with floating lanterns has always ended in a very disappointing ball of fire being thrown on the ground. This was very exciting. To Jen and Chris, I hope your marriage is as magical as floating lanterns :)
